Phoenix Dance Theatre in Leeds seeks freelance dance artists and teachers for its Learning and Development programs. The role involves teaching weekly classes, delivering outreach workshops in schools, and choreographing for our youth programs.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in dance education and will help foster community engagement through dance. We welcome applications from those who are passionate about teaching and engaging with young people.
We work with a wide pool of freelance dance artists across our Learning and Development provisions. As part of our commitment to providing opportunities to local dance artists and teachers in the North, we’re always keen to hear from people who would like to work with us and help to deliver our classes, workshops and outreach activity.
We welcome applications from freelance dance artists, teachers or choreographers based in the North who have a proven track record of delivering dance classes and workshops to young people.
Successful applicants may be invited to teach a workshop observed by our Learning & Development team to assess suitability to teach across our provisions.
