KBS Maritime is seeking a Learning & Development Co-Ordinator for HM Naval Base, Portsmouth. This on-site role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £28,000–£34,000. You’ll support learning programmes, maintain records, and help build organisational capability with managers and partners.
Experience in L&D, LMS and HR activities is valued; CIPD qualifications are beneficial but not essential. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

As the Learning & Development (L&D) Co-ordinator you will play an important role in supporting the effective delivery of learning, development and early careers activities across KBS Maritime.
You will coordinate a range of learning and training programmes and activities, maintaining learning systems and records, and provide high-quality administrative and operational support, to ensure that employees can easily access and successfully complete learning opportunities.
Working closely with managers, employees, and external partners, as L&D Coordinator you will play a key role in helping to identify learning and development needs across the business, supporting training needs analysis and skills gap activities that contribute to building organisational capability. You will also support compliance and employee development by ensuring learning programmes are delivered professionally, efficiently and inline with business standards.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the employee experience while contributing to the continuous improvement of learning processes, systems, and programmes that support KBS Maritime’s performance and growth.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, building trust and collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Experience supporting change initiatives or implementing new processes, systems or new ways of working, helping to ensure smooth adoption and positive outcomes for employees and the business would be advantageous.
CIPD level 3 or 5 would be beneficial, but not essential.
