Overview

The Learning Content Designer is a multi-skilled content creator who designs, writes and builds high quality e-learning, PDFs, workbooks, media scripts and other learning content on a large variety of subjects and supports the rest of the team to create impactful and engaging learning solutions. You champion the learner throughout your designs, making sure their experience is consistent, relevant, and engaging.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the internal team to design and content map solutions that deliver on the client’s brief and are achievable within time, technology, and budget
  • Make suggestions about how digital solutions will work – from structure to scope, visual look and feel and functionality
  • Write scripts for a variety of learning interventions (including scripts for audio, video and animations) which follow the brief and are achievable within time, technology and budget
  • Create learner-friendly course content using a range of rapid authoring tools that match the design brief and set accessibility requirements
  • Take responsibility for your designs throughout the whole life of the project
Requirements
  • B2 English skills
  • 3+ years of experience as a content designer
  • Strong experience in Articulate Storyline and at least one other feature-rich digital learning authoring tool (like Evolve, Captivate and H5P, excluding Rise)
  • Able to write clearly and concisely in English for a variety of media by interpreting source content
  • Able to flex writing style to meet client, audience and modality requirements
  • Proactive and effective collaborator in a multidisciplinary team
