  • Provide administrative support, tracking progress and maintaining records.
  • Help shape training in a dual-gender, Category B prison.

At Sodexo, we're looking for a Learning & Development Trainer to support the creation of a strong learning culture at HMP Peterborough. You'll be at the heart of developing and delivering training programmes that support new and existing staff, enhance engagement, and improve retention - all while ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements.

What you'll do:
  • Deliver and coordinate Initial Training Courses (ITCs) and induction programmes for both operational and non-operational staff

  • Support the L&D Manager with planning, content updates, and day-to-day oversight of staff undergoing training

  • Collaborate with internal experts and departments (SMEs, Apprenticeship Team, Learner Coach) to deliver engaging, compliant training

  • Facilitate refresher and upskilling sessions to ensure continuous development across the establishment

  • Provide strong administrative support, including scheduling sessions, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records

  • Help shape the future of training in a dual-gender, Category B prison, supporting over 600 staff
