Learning & Development Trainer
Location: Birmingham / Midlands-based
Division: ISS Government Facilities Management

Are you passionate about developing people and shaping a positive workplace culture? ISS is looking for a motivated and experienced Learning & Development Trainer to join our Government Facilities Management team. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by delivering engaging training that enhances service delivery and supports career growth across the account.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Regional Learning & Development Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and delivering a wide range of training programmes to frontline teams, including Welcome Days, Placemakers workshops, job-specific skills training, and specialist programmes such as PureSpace (PSO). You'll also support learning administration, ensure compliance reporting, and act as the first point of contact for the Learning Management System (MyLearning).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and facilitate a variety of in-person and digital training programmes
  • Champion PureSpace (PSO) training to drive quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage training schedules, attendance, and data records to ensure statutory and contractual compliance
  • Develop and maintain training matrices to track team development
  • Support with the analysis of training effectiveness and engagement outcomes
  • Provide first-line support for the MyLearning platform and help manage user accounts
  • Promote the value of learning and development across the business
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a training or learning & development role, ideally with frontline or operational teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Confident using IT systems and learning platforms (e.g. LMS)
  • Knowledge of effective learning methods and training evaluation
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working within a facilities or service environment is desirable
