Main Responsibilities (but are not limited to)
- Create and update engaging, high-quality digital learning materials (e.g. eLearning modules, videos, guides, infographics).
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical or operational content into clear, accessible learning resources.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of Ruby Energy's Learning Management System, ensuring a seamless learner experience.
- Ensure all learning content aligns with organisational values, tone, and brand standards.
- Coordinate the administration of internal and external learning events, workshops, and eLearning programmes.
- Maintain accurate learning records and data within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Support reporting and analysis of training participation, feedback, and learning impact.
- Act as the first point of contact for learning queries, signposting employees to appropriate development opportunities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external training providers to ensure training logistics run smoothly.
- Prepare and distribute joining instructions, training materials, and evaluation surveys.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, onboarding, and eLearning programmes.
- Manage training calendars, invites, attendance lists, and follow‑up communications.
Training and Development
As part of your growth journey, you'll work under the mentorship of the L&D Manager and L&D Specialists to build your capability and confidence across all areas of Learning and Development.
Skills
- Learning Needs Analysis: understanding business priorities, identifying skill gaps, and translating them into meaningful learning solutions.
- Instructional Design & Facilitation: creating engaging learning experiences and building confidence in delivering training sessions.
- Evaluating Learning Impact: measuring the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of learning initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Professional Development: pursuing ongoing learning and recognised qualifications (e.g. CIPD, Learning Technologies) to support your career progression within L&D.
Requirement to be considered
Essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for supporting others and delivering great service.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
