Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Learning Advisor to support our learning function. You will ensure our training programs are engaging and smoothly run, with duties including LMS management, reporting, and vendor coordination.

You will maintain training records, support program administration, and help enhance learning through AI tools and automation, while aligning with regulatory obligations and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in talent management or related HR advisory roles
• Proficient in SuccessFactors (or similar HRIS)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage projects and timelines independently
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• Experience in supporting performance management and succession planning processes

Responsibilities

• Communicate with participants and vendors to coordinate learning activities
• Manage enrolment in instructor-led programs and LMS in SuccessFactors
• Maintain training records including attendee lists and schedules
• Book classrooms and webinars and ensure proper setup
• Prepare and disseminate course materials and instructional notes
• Act as primary contact for vendors and participants
• Submit reports on training activities and results
• Recommend improvements to learning activities and add new workshops
• Ensure employees and vendors follow established policies
• Manage attendance dashboards and eLMS enrolments
• Oversee the Professional Qualifications Program
• Leverage approved AI and digital tools to improve learning operations
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and system enhancements

Your opportunity

The Learning Advisor will support our learning function. Your goal will be to ensure that our training programs are engaging and run smoothly, with key accountabilities including:

• Communicating with participants and vendors
• Managing enrolment in instructor-led programs
• Playing an important role in managing our LMS in Success Factors
• High-level reporting on learning activities
• Carrying out other duties as assigned
• Maintaining training records (e.g., attendee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)
• Booking classrooms/webinars and ensuring they’re properly set up
• Preparing and disseminating course material (e.g., instructional notes, feedback forms)
• Acting as a point of contact for vendors and participants
• Handling accounts receivable and ensuring invoices are paid
• Submitting reports on training activities and results
• Recommending improvements to our learning activities or new workshops
• Ensuring employees and vendors follow established policies
• Managing attendance dashboard and eLMS enrolments
• Management and execution of the Professional Qualifications Program
• Use approved AI and digital tools to improve the efficiency and quality of learning operations, including drafting communications, creating learning resources, analysing feedback and supporting reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline learning and talent processes through automation, system enhancements and AI-enabled solutions, escalating recommendations where appropriate.

Must have skills

• Experience in talent management or related HR advisory roles
• Proficient in SuccessFactors (or similar HRIS)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage projects and timelines independently
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• Experience in supporting performance management and succession planning processes

Nice to have skills

• Previous experience advising HRBPs or managers
• Experience in moving processes from Excel to system-based workflows
• Familiarity with psychometric tools (e.g., Insights, Hogan, DiSC)
• Experience in talent persona development or profiling
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in talent management
