Job summary

Rotork in Leeds is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, safety, and the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will drive Lean initiatives and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining stock accuracy.

You will lead a team, coach staff, implement 5S and visual management, and coordinate resource planning with internal and external partners to meet production schedules. The role requires strong communication and experience with warehouse systems in FMCG

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and inventory control methods.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Ability to apply lean principles such as 5S and visual management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills using tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Automotive/FMCG warehousing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational requirements within the warehouse to ensure safety and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Lead the warehouse team, providing training, coaching and assessments.
• Implement Rotork Lean and Daily Management rules to achieve productivity goals.
• Drive service levels for accuracy, quality and lead times to meet targets.
• Plan resource and capacity to match production, supplier and customer schedules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control across storage, movements and transactions.
