Job summary

A leading engineering company is looking for an Industrial Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Bristol. The engineer will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency and operational performance through industrial engineering principles. Responsibilities include conducting time studies, supporting layout planning, and identifying waste using Lean Manufacturing. Candidates should have a degree in Industrial Engineering and experience in a manufacturing environment. The position is 100% on-site and operates outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve manufacturing and operational processes.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
