The Role

They are seeking a highly skilled Lean Operations manufacturing Manager to lead their operational improvement initiatives and drive a culture of lean thinking across the business. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, developing sustainable solutions, coaching teams, and ensuring that lean principles are embedded into everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across all operational areas.
  • Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and waste elimination activities.
  • Implement and sustain lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor performance improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and influence employees at all levels to adopt lean practices.
  • Support strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
About You
  • Proven experience in a Lean/CI/Operational Excellence role, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of lean methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and engage teams at all organisational levels.
  • Strong communication and project management capabilities.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is an advantage.
