The role

We’re looking for a high impact Leadership & Performance Coach to play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth and effectiveness of our management and leadership team at Climate X.

In this role, you’ll work directly with our people managers to strengthen decision-making, drive clarity, and consistently raise the performance bar in line with our organizational standards.

You’ll identify development gaps, design targeted training opportunities, and coach leaders to navigate difficult conversations, act with confidence, and foster stronger team alignment. Most importantly, you’ll ensure every manager is equipped to bring out the very best in their people.

The impact you’ll own
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to our leadership group to enhance individual and group performance and support them in fostering a positive and productive work environment, aligned to the performance standards of the Company
  • Design and deliver innovative learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and leadership development initiatives
  • Implement learning paths and programs effectively, against career ladders, ensuring engagement and measurable outcomes
  • Champion AI-enhanced learning experiences that meet the needs of a modern workforce.
  • Oversee the selection and management of external training vendors and consultants
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Stay updated on trends in L&D and incorporate best practices into programs
  • Establish and deliver KPIs that measure the success of L&D programs to stakeholders
Essential Skills
  • Proven track record of 1:1 coaching with senior leaders and management teams, with tangible impact on performance, decision‑making, and leadership capability
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through complex challenges, including difficult conversations, conflict resolution, and organisational change
  • Hands‑on experience in assessing leadership capability gaps; and designing and delivering leadership development programs tailored to fast‑paced, scaling organisations
  • Strong ability to translate strategic goals into practical, day‑to‑day learning interventions that drive performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities
  • Proficiency in building and/or maintaining digital learning platforms, LMS systems, and modern training tools
Desirable Skills
  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related discipline
  • Experience working in high‑performance companies, particularly rapidly scaling venture‑backed startups will be beneficial
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter)
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience using metrics to evaluate program impact
  • Experience designing succession planning programs
  • Ability to coach at executive or senior leadership level
  • Recognised coaching qualification (e.g., ICF, CCE, ILM, EMCC)
