Job summary

Harvey Nash IT Recruitment UK in Cambridge is seeking a Workday Technical Consultant to deliver technical solutions across the People Systems landscape. The role is hybrid (2 days on site weekly) with a salary range of £60k to £90k depending on experience.

The candidate will manage incidents, ensure system performance, security and governance, and work with the Technical Solution Owner to deliver scalable HR solutions aligned with the broader architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong Workday technical expertise and hands-on configuration
• Experience delivering HR systems solutions across a shared services landscape
• Familiarity with incident management, governance and ITIL processes
• Ability to work with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Act as the Workday technical expert, guiding best-practice configuration and design
• Lead technical changes across HR systems roadmap to deliver scalable solutions
• Manage Workday releases, development cycles, and transitions into BAU support
• Oversee 2nd/3rd line incident and service request resolution within SLAs
• Drive performance, security, governance and adherence to architectural standards
• Coach and share knowledge within the HR Solutions team
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and business stakeholders on reliable solutions
