Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Greater London is seeking an experienced Lead Workday Consultant for a 6-month contract to support a major Workday enhancement programme. The role involves leading the implementation of Recruitment, Performance Management, and Labour Scheduling modules, and requires strong communication skills, hands-on configuration expertise, and experience in stakeholder management.

Lead Workday Consultant – initial 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)

Hybrid – London

We are seeking an experienced Lead Workday Consultant to support the delivery of a major Workday enhancement programme. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation of Recruitment, Performance Management and Labour Scheduling modules, working closely with HR, programme leadership and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration and deployment of Workday Recruitment, Performance Management and Labour Scheduling modules.

Gather requirements, run workshops and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

Own configuration, testing, cutover planning and documentation.

Provide expert guidance on best practice, process optimisation and change impacts.

Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth integration and alignment across the Workday landscape.

Support knowledge transfer and transition to BAU teams.

Required Experience

Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Workday Consultant delivering end-to-end module implementations.

Strong hands-on configuration expertise in Recruitment , Performance and ideally Labour Scheduling .

Experience leading workshops, defining requirements, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong understanding of Workday security, testing cycles, data, and change governance.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
