Airbus Operations Limited, based at Filton, seeks a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer to lead wind tunnel campaigns and drive testing programs across global facilities. You will coordinate with external partners and internal teams to ensure high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrable knowledge of wind tunnel testing methodologies and data correction techniques.
• Experience in technical project management with leadership of teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and digital skills.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and lead wind tunnel test campaigns at Filton and external facilities worldwide.
• Synthesize technical requirements to create test plans, costings, and formal documentation.
• Coordinate technical specialists and liaise with external wind tunnel operators for safe testing.
• Validate aerodynamic results throughout testing and collaborate with the Aerodynamics team; travel as needed.
