Job summary

KWS UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sr. Station Technician UK to lead wheat yield trials at Thriplow. You will manage trial operations from seed through data processing, ensuring timely, accurate results and collaboration with the Trials team.

The role requires 3+ years in agricultural trials, a related qualification, and strong Excel/database skills, plus a UK driving licence. PA1/PA11 and forklift/telehandler licences are desirable.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in agricultural trials.
• Agricultural or related university/college qualification.
• Experience supervising small teams.
• Strong knowledge of arable crop operations, particularly wheat.
• Full UK driving licence.
• PA1 and PA11 certifications, forklift/telehandler licences desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful management of all KWS UK wheat yield trials.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate, high-quality data to stakeholders.
• Support trials across other crop species as part of the UK Trials team.
• Plan and execute all trial operations including placement, drilling, harvest prep, and data processing.
