Job summary

Jacobs is seeking process engineers to shape UK water projects from concept through commissioning. You will work on pumping stations, treatment works, and CAPEX assets, delivering high-value, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• Chartered status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institute is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional innovative Engineering and Technology initiatives and Pilot systems including membrane bioreactors and anaerobic digestion.
• Develop process flow diagrams and layout plans.
• Select appropriate treatment technologies (e.g., MBR, SBR).
• Develop and implement corrective actions to restore optimal performance.
• Project manage the delivery of wastewater infrastructure across a project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement process optimization solutions.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers on plant new builds and upgrades.
