Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Warfighting Systems Analyst to join our fast-growing team with initial London engagement and relocation to a simulation center in the UAE. You will drive M&S&A activities, wargaming, and scenario design to translate operational needs into system architecture decisions.

You will lead a small, agile team, connect performance to mission outcomes, and collaborate with engineering and business teams to prove capability through rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

• Active country-specific Secret/Top Secret clearance (as required).
• 7+ years in ORSA, systems analysis, or related technical-operational roles.
• Experience with tactical experiments, wargaming design, data analytics, and trade-space analysis.
• Proven modeling/simulation experience for military missions; familiarity with tactics.
• Proficient in C++ or Python for physics-based modeling and scripting.
• Ability to translate system design decisions into mission outcomes and clear results.

About The Job

At Anduril, we are developing unmanned systems for subsurface, surface, land, and air domains that will leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of multi-mission capability to our customers. In addition to the physical systems being produced, Anduril is providing training and experimentation services to our partners and customers. These projects require Warfighting Systems Analysts who can connect operational needs to system architecture, technical performance, integration choices, and mission-level outcomes. We are looking for our next Lead Warfighting Systems Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Initial hiring will be in London, UK and the candidate will relocate upon initial completion of the simulation center.

The Lead Warfighting Systems Analyst is responsible for producing, iterating, and supporting Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (M&S&A) including wargaming and experimentation for Anduril products. This has a three-fold purpose: Train the customer in Anduril capabilities, conduct internal analysis to support the iterative improvement of current and future products, and learn the specific customers’ needs to ensure we produce the right product for the right reasons. The Lead Warfighter Systems Analyst will be the first hire and lead role in an extremely Agile team of wargaming analysts who will be the plank owners of a new simulation center being built in the UAE.

This role is ideal for individuals who can reason across military operations and technical systems, evaluate performance tradeoffs, develop and deploy scenarios with Python and YAML, and communicate how system design decisions affect operational utility.

What You'll Do

• Leverage high-end models and simulations, including Anduril's Lattice Mission Simulation (MissionSim) to conduct simulation, experimentation, and training
• Develop scenarios based on customer needs to demonstrate capabilities
• Support engineering and product teams by evaluating how platform, payload, autonomy, sensor, effector, communications, navigation, or C2 choices affect mission outcomes
• Design, execute, and analyze tactical (engagement-level and mission-level) analysis and wargames to assess autonomous system capabilities and refine tactics
• Develop physics-based models and relevant operational scenarios, with an emphasis on modeling red and blue force systems and tactics
• Assess system-of-systems interactions, integration risks, dependencies, constraints, and mission impacts
• Lead the warfighting capability analysts to ensure system analysis remains grounded in real operational problems and customer needs
• Collaborate with engineering and business development teams to demonstrate Anduril's capabilities and value proposition through rigorous, data-driven analysis

Required Qualifications

• Currently possess and be able to maintain an active country specific Secret security clearance
• 7+ years of experience in Operations Research, Systems Analysis (ORSA), systems engineering, mission engineering, test and evaluation, or a related technical-operational discipline
• Experience with tactical experiments and wargaming design, including scenario development, data analytics, and trade-space analysis
• Demonstrated experience in modeling and simulation for military missions, with a preference for a background in friendly and adversary tactics
• Proficiency with C++ or Python for physics-based modeling and scripting
• Ability to connect system performance, architecture, and design choices to mission outcomes
• Ability to assess and solve problems, and to effectively communicate results through strong verbal and written skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DoD M&S tools (e.g., AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, ESAMS, Command PE)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a country specific Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Operational military background with a subsequent transition into an ORSA, M&S, or Operations Analyst position
• Experience with AFSIM plug-in development or other advanced M&S framework customization
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, operational test, or experimentation
• Experience developing KPPs, KSAs, MOEs, MOPs, requirements, test objectives, or system performance assessments
• Experience with defense systems, autonomous systems, maritime systems, undersea systems, sensors, effectors, communications, navigation, C2, or ISR mission systems
