Are you an ambitious and motivated small animal Veterinary Surgeon looking to establish your career further? Our client, a well‑established small animal practice located in a popular, historical market town in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can demonstrate clinical leadership skills and has a track record of delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.

You will be joining an experienced and supportive team that includes a newly appointed Practice Manager, a full Nursing team, and a friendly Client Care team. The practice offers a wide range of services and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including diagnostic imaging, dental facilities with radiography, and an in‑house laboratory. The working pattern for this role is full‑time, consisting of four weekdays per week and a fair weekend rota. However, part‑time opportunities can be considered to suit your lifestyle. A generous relocation package is available for those moving from outside the UK or from more than 60 miles away within the UK.

This role is perfect for someone eager to establish relationships and develop the client base further. You will be expected to provide exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures, ensuring clients receive clear and compassionate updates on their pets. In addition, you will work closely with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance, focusing on key measures to enhance the practice's success.
