purovets in Torquay, Devon, invites applications for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to combine hands-on clinical work with leadership duties. The role offers autonomy to lead a team, shape practice culture and drive clinical excellence in a friendly, supportive setting.

The ideal candidate is an experienced MRCVS with strong client care, leadership capability and a passion for mentoring colleagues. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available where applicable.

Qualifications

Candidate must be an experienced MRCVS with strong clinical skills and a genuine interest in developing and supporting others.
Leadership experience is welcomed, but vets ready to take their first step into a leadership role will also be considered.
Strong client communication and clinical decision-making are essential.

Responsibilities

Lead, support and inspire the veterinary team while delivering outstanding clinical care.
Carry out consultations and surgeries, making clinical decisions and communicating with clients.
Develop colleagues and contribute to the practice's growth and culture.
