Job summary

Vets4Pets Newcastle Kingston Park is seeking an Head Veterinary Nurse to lead our nursing team and drive high standards. The role offers funded CPD and a chance to develop staff with direct access to practice owners.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, excellent communication, and client care skills. Full-time hours (37.5) with flexible rota in a supportive GP practice environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified RVN with current registration.
• Experience supervising or leading a nursing team.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Ability to coach and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small nursing team and drive standards.
• Provide clinical coaching and nurse clinics.
• Schedule 3 surgeries and complex in-patient care.
• Provide emergency cover and mentor junior nurses.
