Job summary

B A Bush and Son Ltd, part of the Bush Group, is recruiting a Lead Vehicle Technician for our Grimsby branch. This full-time role involves hands-on tyre work and fast-fit services within a small team, delivering high levels of customer service.

The position is 42 hours per week, with salary up to £30,000 DOE, plus benefits such as a company pension and free on-site parking. A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience is essential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or proven previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience carrying out tyre checks, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, and fast-fit work.
• Ability to manage stock and assist with office duties and customer appointments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tyre checks and puncture repairs.
• Removing/fitting/balancing car, van and 4×4/SUV tyres.
• Wheel alignment checks and adjustments.
• Fast fit work, such as batteries and brakes.
• Quality checking completed work and signing the vehicle off as safe to return to the customer.

We’re pleased to present a new opportunity for an experienced Lead Vehicle Technician to join the team at our Grimsby branch.

We’re pleased to present a new opportunity for an experienced Lead Vehicle Technician to join the team at our Grimsby branch.

The branch delivers a first-class tyre and fast-fit service, as part of a small team your role will be integral to providing a high level of customer service.

Day to day you will be hands on, helping to;

• Carry out tyre checks and puncture repairs
• Removing/fitting/balancing car, van and 4×4/SUV tyres
• Wheel alignment checks and adjustments
• Fast fit work, such as batteries and brakes

Key responsibilities of the Lead Technician include;

• Quality checking completed work and signing the vehicle off as safe to return to the customer
• Carrying out invoicing routines
• Assisting the manager and service manager with office-based duties, such as stock management and confirming customer appointments
