Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Leeds is seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join a busy, multi‑bay workshop. You will diagnose, service and repair light vehicles, lead with sound judgment, and support daily workshop flow alongside the Service Manager.

We require 6–7 years of proven experience, a full UK driving licence, and readiness for supervisory responsibilities. Basic salary around £34,000-£36,000 plus monthly profit share and annual bonuses, with weekend free work.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Prior management, supervisory, or workshop lead experience.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a high volume of light vehicles to ensure peak safety and performance.
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics, using hand and power tools for complex repairs.
• Assist with job pricing, decision‑making, and daily workshop flow alongside the Service Manager.
• Maintain clean, safe working conditions and uphold the Right First Time ethos.
