Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a collaborative UX/Interaction Designer to own end-to-end design output within a full design team. You’ll present to stakeholders, adapt designs from user research feedback, and craft cohesive journeys using a central design system.

You’ll apply strong prototyping skills across Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure and Adobe XD, balance business needs with user insights, and advocate accessible design for a broad range of customers across platforms.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design.
• Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer (or possibly from a Visual Design background).
• Full ownership of the Interaction Design project.
• Excellent prototyping and layout skills which they can articulate clearly to internal customers and development teams.
• Comfortable using existing design systems, proactively recommending new ways to improve and extend them to benefit both the project and other designers.
• Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research, and how this informs the interaction design process.
• Familiarity working in a complex landscape.
• A collaborative mindset to work closely and quickly with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong ability to see designs through to delivery - communicating with developers to ensure designs meet specifications and can be used by a broad range of users of all backgrounds, ages and abilities.
• Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a full design team and own design output.
• Present work confidently to stakeholders and reflect feedback from user research and usability testing.
• Craft end-to-end user experiences by balancing content and UI from a central design system.
• Create lifelike designs using prototyping tools (Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe XD).
• Balance business requirements with user needs while gathering research and rationale for stakeholder alignment.
• Provide guidance on accessibility and inclusive design across platforms.
• Work with developers to ensure designs meet specifications and are usable by diverse users.
