Job summary

GSK in Stevenage is seeking a motivated computational biologist to focus on analysis of multi-omic data to deliver actionable insights for hepatology, renal, metabolic and cardiovascular disease.

You will lead analysis of single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and publish findings while the site relocates to Cambridge in 2029.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, computational sciences, ML, or related field.
• Experience analyzing multi-omic data types, including single-cell and spatial omics.
• Experience applying analytical, statistical or ML methods to large-scale biological data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply computational approaches to multi-omic data for disease endotypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform target and biomarker decisions.
• Communicate findings clearly to project teams and stakeholders.
• Deliver analyses with rigorous statistics and scalable code.
