Job summary

your Jared is seeking a Technical Architect to lead delivery of complex digital solutions in Bristol. You will work across enterprise-scale systems and CMS platforms, guiding a small engineering team and contributing hands-on coding across C#, Java and frontend tech.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and explore modern cloud options (Azure/AWS) while staying current with Sitecore, Umbraco and AEM developments. This is a senior, impactful role in a media-friendly agency.

Qualifications

Experience as Technical Architect or Senior Technical Lead seeking the next step.
Experience with complex enterprise software and CMS platforms (Sitecore, Umbraco, AEM).
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with hands-on coding in C#, Java and front-end languages.

Responsibilities

Line manage ~3 engineers and mentor the team.
Contribute to quality improvements and ways of working in engineering.
Write code as part of projects or BAU features/fixes.
Code in C#, Java and front-end languages as needed.
Peer review code and deliver prototypes / PoCs.
Document technical solutions and keep up-to-date with Sitecore, Umbraco, AEM and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Balance 60% hands-on work with architecture and line management.
