Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics is recruiting a Surveyor (Surface) to join a major joint venture with J. Murphy & Sons, supporting the Lower Thames Crossing programme.

The role leads survey operations within the section, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and high-quality data for construction and design teams, using aerial surveys, laser scanning, 3D design models, and large control networks. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders across the programme and take ownership of survey data processing,

Qualifications

• Degree in Land Surveying, Engineering Surveying or Geomatics.
• Solid experience in engineering survey techniques, laser scanning, data processing.
• Experience with 3D design models and positioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising survey teams carrying out aerial and engineering surveying activities
• Carrying out laser scanning and utilising modern surveying technologies
• Producing accurate and reliable survey data for construction and design teams
• Managing large-scale control networks and survey coordination
• Ensuring all survey operations meet health, safety, and quality standards
• Coordinating closely with construction, design, and safety teams
• Supporting reporting, data processing, and delivery of survey outputs
