A leading social care organization in the UK is seeking a Lead Support Worker to manage support planning and coordinate staff in providing person-centered care. The ideal candidate will have experience in supported housing and a passion for helping others achieve independence. Description
Pay £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum) plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and health cash plan worth over £1140
Permanent, full or part time (37.5hpw), across 7 days per week to include some bank holidays and weekends.

Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support.
Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers
Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community

Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting
Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach
8 week rolling rota covering 7 days per week, currently including 2 weekends in 8, with some early 9‑5 shifts, some middle 10‑6 shifts and some late 11‑7 shifts.
Our service is staffed from 9am‑7pm weekdays and 10am‑6pm weekends and bank holidays
You will be based at our Lymington Site, with regular travel to our Hythe site, and occasional travel across the rest of the patch, covering New Forest, Winchester, Eastleigh and Test Valley
You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay for that)
A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
