Job summary

A leading support services organization in Bath is seeking a Lead Support Worker to coordinate support for individuals with complex needs. In this role, you will guide support planning, balance administrative duties, and help customers achieve independence through daily task support. Earn £13.63 per hour (£26,645 per annum [pro rata]) plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and health cash plan worth over £1140

What you’ll do

Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person-centred support

Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads

Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments

Work with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers

Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community

You have

Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting

Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)

Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support

The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach

Ideally experience working with customers with mental health issues and/or alcohol and substance use

The practical bits

We generally work Monday to Friday, we’re also flexible to support customers who are studying or working

We can be flexible to agree your working pattern with you

You’ll primarily work from our service in central Bath which is handy for town in your lunch break!

You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
