Job summary

A staffing solutions company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee subcontractors in substation construction projects in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have NGED OPS2 certification and several years of experience in high-voltage sectors. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety policies, managing site resources, and maintaining quality oversight. The role offers a contract of 6 months with a competitive daily rate of £400 to £450 outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the HV sector (33kV or 132kV).
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of subcontractors.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors in substation construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
• Produce timely reports and maintain accurate records.
