Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor in the Woking area is looking for an experienced Sub Agent to manage site teams, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate subcontractors on a major heavy civils project. The ideal candidate will have a background in heavy civils and strong leadership skills. This outside IR35 position offers a competitive day rate of £400-£470 over a 10-month engagement with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Section Engineer.
• Background in heavy civils like structures and drainage.
• Strong understanding of quality management and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Agent and Project Manager in project delivery.
• Manage site teams and supervise subcontractors.
• Ensure construction is aligned with programme and specifications.
