Job summary

People Group Limited seeks an experienced Structures Site Agent to lead delivery of a circa £35m structures package for a major Oxford infrastructure project. The role involves planning, sequencing, and coordinating a large team to ensure safety, quality and on-time completion.

You will manage subcontractors, interface with the Project Manager, and drive the works from planning through delivery on a long-term freelance basis, with the potential for firm ongoing work and enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar in major civils.
• Strong track record delivering major structures such as bridges or viaducts.
• Experience planning and running construction works from planning through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day delivery of a circa £35m structures package.
• Plan and sequence works with short-term programmes and lookaheads.
• Manage subcontractors to deliver safely, to programme and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and site engineering team on sequencing and queries.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery measures.
• Coordinate interfaces with wider highways, earthworks and infrastructure.
• Oversee quality, RAMS, ITPs and construction records.
• Lead and manage the site team with clear direction.
