Job summary

NUVIA UK, embedded in the STEP Design Authority team, seeks a driven structural engineer to report to the STEP V&V Manager. You will provide the structural engineering expertise for verification planning, write and build verification plans for structural aspects across IPTs 1–5, and lead verification activities on IPT 4 and 5.

Qualifications

• Structural engineering design experience.
• Desk / paper-based verification experience.
• Ideally Site based verification experience.
• Desirable - Novel structures and builds.
• Verification experience examples: Design Basis Verification, Structural Analysis Verification, Structural Design Verification, Connection and Detail Verification, Foundation Interface Verification, Buildability Verification, Compliance /Standards Verification, Independent Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Report the STEP V&V Manager.
• Provide the structural engineering expertise for Verification planning.
• Write and build verification plans for structural aspects across IPTs 1-5.
• Lead/Own the verification activities on IPT 4 and 5.
• Consult with experts from other disciplines to build verifications plan within your scope.
• Support central V&V team methods, processes, integration, planning, forecasting.
