A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to oversee a multi-disciplinary team. We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services. Our Nuclear team provides the front end design and engineering capability across the PPP portfolio. The role of Lead Structural Engineer will sit within a pipeline project and will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the Project from SL to PPP delivery responsibility, that satisfies the client and PPP requirements. PPP has a pipeline of projects that will transition to become major projects, either in after feasibility or during Appraise & Select phases of the gated process.
You will be joining an existing project team that is undertaking these early phases, either appraisal of a longlist or shortlist of options to support the selection of the preferred solution, and the development of that solution to sufficient maturity.
