Job summary

A biotechnology company in Cambridge is seeking a Cell Culture Scientist to enhance its team. This role also involves participating in laboratory operations and contributing to new product assessments. A background in assay development and molecular biology is desirable.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with stem cell culture, including maintenance and differentiation.
• Confident in aseptic technique and common cell culture workflows, including transfection.
• Experience in cell-based assay development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality experimental data for product applications using stem cell and organoid models.
• Contribute to the assessment and optimisation of new materials and reagents.
• Work with assay development teams to design, refine, and carry out cell-based assays.
• Provide science-focused support to customers, helping them resolve cell culture-related issues.
