Job summary

Syneos Health in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior or Principal Statistical Programmer for an 18-month assignment. You will lead statistical programming activities, develop programs to create tables, listings and figures, and collaborate with statisticians to deliver high-quality outputs.

The role requires an advanced degree, mandatory SAS proficiency, and experience in efficacy programming; oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Extensive experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting.
Proficiency in SAS, which is mandatory.
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 or equivalent preferred.
Must be eligible to work without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Use SAS or other software to develop programming code for tables, listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified in analysis plans.
Provide technical leadership in the development of statistical programs.
Collaborate with statisticians to address programming needs and deliverables.
Act as lead statistical programmer, guiding junior programmers and monitoring progress.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and outputs.
Design and implement efficient programming solutions to meet project requirements.
Conduct code reviews and stay updated with advancements in statistical programming.
