Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in the UK is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to join our regulatory programming team. You will translate complex clinical data into submission-ready outputs and influence regulatory filings.

You’ll review analysis plans, shape programming strategy, and advise senior stakeholders on risk and resolution. This role offers a path to leadership within a global oncology/biopharma environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of statistical programming experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry, including hands-on involvement in major regulatory submissions.
Fluent in SAS, CDISC/SDTM/ADaM standards, and the end-to-end clinical data pipeline.
Understanding of the full drug development lifecycle—from eDC data collection to TFLs and e-submission components.
Ability to operate in cross-functional teams with statisticians, clinicians, and regulatory experts.
Proactive at spotting problems before they escalate and able to communicate clearly.
Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

Lead electronic submissions for significant regulatory filings and contribute to clinical package preparation.
Review analysis plans, shape programming strategy, and advise senior stakeholders on risk and resolution.
Mentor and develop other programming professionals and build a high-performing team.
