Job summary
Elysium Healthcare is recruiting a Lead Speech & Language Therapist to lead a specialist service at the Gateway Recovery Centre, Widnes. You will manage a clinical caseload, deliver expert assessment and intervention for complex communication and dysphagia needs, and supervise a multidisciplinary team to maintain high clinical standards.
The role focuses on developing innovative care models, governance, and staff training, with HCPC registration and RCSLT membership required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Speech & Language Pathology required.
- Current HCPC registration essential.
- RCSLT membership essential; post-graduate study beneficial.
- Masters qualification desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Speech & Language Therapy service.
- Supervise Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
- Deliver expert assessments, diagnoses and interventions.
- Develop personalised therapy programmes and governance.
- Support service development and research/audit activities.
