Lead Solutions Architect - London - Technology

Lead Solutions Architect / Senior Solutions Architect with excellent experience in technology solutions architecture is required by a global law firm based in central London. It's a brand-new role, becoming part of a newly established solutions architecture team with hybrid working 2 days in the London office

Experience Required

• Working as a Senior / Lead Solution Architect, Application Architect or similar, within a complex enterprise environment, ideally for another law firm
• Application architecture experience, with the ability to assess how applications, data, integrations and business processes fit together across an enterprise landscape.
• Proven experience translating business strategy and capability requirements into target-state architectures and multi-year roadmaps.
• Experience of application modernisation and rationalisation, including migration, re-platforming, consolidation, replacement and retirement decisions.
• Experience architecting solutions involving enterprise business applications, rather than specialising primarily in infrastructure or integration architecture.
• Strong knowledge of recognised architecture principles, methodologies and frameworks, such as TOGAF

Desirable experience

• Experience with legal/business applications, particularly Intapp, Aderant, iManage, HubSpot, Microsoft Fabric or equivalent platforms.
• Experience across client intake, risk/compliance, matter management, practice/financial management, document/knowledge management, CRM, data or AI.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Agile/Scrum and/or ITIL, or TOGAF certifications.

This is a Senior, business-facing architecture role leading the design and modernisation of the application estate. Responsible for defining target architectures and technology roadmaps, shaping major transformation programmes, overseeing cloud and application migrations, evaluating solutions and suppliers, strengthening architecture governance, and providing strategic technical leadership across the organisation

Key Duties

• Lead solution architecture for major transformation programmes.
• Define target architectures, technology roadmaps and transition plans.
• Own architecture across applications, cloud, data, security and integration.
• Drive application modernisation, cloud migration and legacy rationalisation.
• Assess technology, vendors and investment options.
• Provide architecture governance and technical assurance.
• Advise and influence senior stakeholders on technology decisions.
• Mentor architects and technical leads

Salary - They are looking to pay a starting salary of between £115,000 - £125,000 + excellent benefits.
