Job summary

Ganymede Energy is recruiting an experienced Lead Solar Roofer to head a two-person installation crew on unoccupied domestic properties and deliver high-quality Solar PV projects for new-build housing developments.

You will lead 1st fix installations, act as on-site point of contact, and collaborate with planners, supervisors and the operations team to maintain high standards and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience installing Solar PV systems.
• Previous experience working on roofs and installing solar mounting systems.
• Experience leading or supervising a small installation team.
• Good understanding of working at height and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read technical drawings, site plans and installation instructions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading a two-person team to deliver New-build Solar PV installations safely and efficiently.
• Identifying and completing remedial works where required.
• Providing guidance, training and support to your team member.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health and safety and customer service.
