As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, A/I Technology Team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions across various technical domains. Working as part of an agile team, you will support the firm's business objectives, address complex challenges, and promote innovation. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing our technology infrastructure while promoting a culture of inclusion and opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with creative problem-solving
  • Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met
  • Gather, analyze, and visualize data to improve software applications and systems
  • Identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and technology events
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and proficient advanced experience.
  • Proficient in GoLang, Python, or comparable programming languages, with a demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Proven experience working with AWS
  • Practical knowledge of container builds, deployments and orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes or ECS Fargate
  • Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Terraform
