Bauer Media Audio in Manchester is building a new in-house software engineering hub. You’ll lead a squad of engineers, contributing technically while guiding delivery and people management.

You will write and review code, drive architectural decisions, and forecast capacity, partnering with Product to plan roadmaps. We seek leaders who value collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality, scalable software in a modern media environment.

Qualificações

• Solid hands-on software engineering across frontend and backend.
• Lead a core stack — Java Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka; deep in some areas.
• Strong software architecture with domain-driven design.
• Experience with Agile delivery in a product-led environment; media experience is a plus.

• Write and review code as an active contributor.
• Guide architectural decisions and technical direction.
• Plan squad capacity, forecast hiring, manage resources.
