Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Post Tech Technology – Margin and Collateral Services to drive critical technology solutions within an agile team. You will shape architecture, deliver secure, scalable products, and collaborate with diverse professionals to support business goals.

The role focuses on high-availability enterprise software, cloud-native design, and continuous delivery, with opportunities to lead communities of practice and work with cutting-edge technologies

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building enterprise, high-availability software solutions.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, React JS, Python, etc.)
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.).
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams
• Drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering
• Promote awareness and use of new and leading‑edge technologies
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
