MRJ Recruitment is working with a growing SaaS business seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join a small product engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role, blending software development, technical direction and people management.

You will steer architecture and API design, build with C#/.NET, React and Azure, mentor engineers, and drive engineering standards. The AI angle involves Claude and experimenting with AI agents to improve productivity and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development with leadership experience.
• Strong React frontend experience.
• Experience with C# / .NET and Azure.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Mentoring or people management experience.

• Lead technical direction and architecture.
