Job summary

Zurich Nova is seeking a Team Lead Software Engineer to design, build and mentor a small software team in Bristol or Bath. You will deliver modern software, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and explore applying AI and emerging technologies to real-world problems.

The role blends hands-on technical delivery with leadership responsibilities, with flexible hours and a mix of in-office and remote work. 3–5 years in software engineering and a passion for AI are ideal.

Qualifications

3–5 years of software engineering or development experience.
Experience in start-up, scale-up or innovation-focused teams.
Experience leading projects, mentoring colleagues or managing small teams.
Strong coding skills with production software delivery.
Genuine interest in AI, machine learning and emerging technologies.
