Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Warton - we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £49,400 + depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:
  • Active participation in various stages of the software lifecycle, such as gathering requirements, designing appropriate solutions and ensuring that the end product meets the requirements through varied levels of testing
  • Environment configuration and management for applications such as SQL Server, CATIA, Visual Studio
  • Support, enhance and develop the documentation knowledge base
  • Carry out data migration activities
  • Take application deployment into development environment
  • Support of development, testing and production environments
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Proven experience working as a software engineer
  • Experience of a developing application in a professional context in relevant programming language

Desirable:

  • Relevant software or computing qualifications
  • Experience of C++, C#, Java, Blazor or other programming languages

The Engineering Systems Competency Centre
