Job summary

Companies House is seeking a Scrum Team Lead and Java developer to join our Digital services team in Cardiff. You will help transform corporate governance through the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, focusing on Java with Spring Boot and TypeScript with Node.js.

We value continuous learning, cross-team collaboration, and supporting colleagues to perform at their best in a hybrid working environment. Remote options may be considered where commuting is impractical.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Software Developer with Scrum leadership.
• Strong Java development experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and Express is beneficial.
• Knowledge of modern transformation programmes and legacy modernization.

• Lead Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate across teams to transform legacy systems as part of the programme.
