Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a Lead SOC Architect in the UK to design and deliver security operations centre solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will work with senior stakeholders to capture requirements, shape architectures, and guide deployment through the full lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on architectural work, strategic advisory, and client-facing responsibilities within highly regulated Defence/Gov sectors, with hybrid working in the Guildford/Frimley area.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, building or deploying Security Operations Centre solutions.
• Experience with at least two of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence.
• Strong understanding of SOC operating models and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand security and accreditation requirements.
• Architect end-to-end SOC solutions across people, processes, technology and physical infrastructure.
• Develop CONOPS and high-/low-level and deployment designs for SOC projects.
• Design and integrate security technologies and tooling across on-premise and cloud.
