Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager for social housing external maintenance in the Leicester area. The role is full-time and permanent, with a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 DOE, plus car allowance and package.

The Site Manager will deliver external retrofit projects across social housing properties, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to high standards of quality and health & safety. Client-facing with strong coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering social housing maintenance projects.
• Strong leadership with hands-on site presence.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship building.
• Experience in cost control and subcontractor management.
• Proficient with planning software (MS Project or similar).

Responsibilities

• Oversee project direction with financial control.
• Build strong client relationships to ensure quality service.
• Manage costs and coordinate subcontractors.
• Plan programmes for multiple work streams.
• Conduct onsite inspections and reporting to drive improvement.
• Handover properties on time meeting KPIs.
• Liaise with clients, contract admins, and design teams.
• Ensure strict health and safety compliance on site.
• Manage site administration and staff.
• Oversee scheduling and procurement of materials.
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings.
• Programme works using MS Project.
