Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a major civil engineering project in South Lincolnshire. You will oversee the replacement of an open channel section, focusing on sheet piling and reinforced concrete works while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong dimensional control and setting-out skills, plus the ability to coordinate subcontractors and support the operations team with QA and site management on a complex project.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in sheet piling and reinforced concrete works.
• Proven ability to manage dimensional control and setting out.
• Experience overseeing and coordinating subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance and site management.
• Experience on complex civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee replacement of approximately 150 metres of open channel on a major civil project.
• Manage dimensional control and setting out to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate subcontractor packages and monitor QA on site.
• Support operations team with quality assurance and site management.
• Deliver works to required standards of safety and quality.
