Location: Anywhere in the UK (excluding London) - 100% Remote Working

A great opportunity to join a leading digital consulting firm as a Lead Security Architect, delivering secure-by-design solutions across public sector, security, defence, and policing programmes. This role is ideal for experienced consultants who enjoy working at the intersection of technology, architecture, and security - helping major government clients design and build resilient, scalable systems.

What you'll be doing

• Leading security architecture design and assurance across large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Embedding security into solution and application design, ensuring alignment with enterprise and government standards.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients across Defence, Security, and Public Sector.
• Producing high-quality security documentation and architectural patterns to support accreditation and compliance.
• Collaborating with delivery teams, architects, and security engineers to ensure best practice is applied throughout.

Experience required

• Background in consulting or client-facing architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of application and cloud security, ideally with hands-on experience in secure development practices.
• Experience in Defence, Public Sector, Security, or Law Enforcement projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to translate complex risk into actionable design.
• SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
